WHO THIS IS FOR
This conference is designed for adult attendees who are parents or caregivers engaged in home education.
All adults are required to register for the main conference.
Tots and infants are welcome to accompany parents — we provide a quiet nursing room and an open café area that can be used by families as needed. We simply ask that young children not disrupt sessions.
We have partnered with Giant Cow to provide an on-site kid's program. Children of registered adults may attend only if registered in the supervised Giant Cow Kid’s Program. Kid's program spaces are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Children must be registered directly with Giant Cow following adult registration. The registration link for the kid's program will follow in the registration confirmation email.
Giant Cow Kid's Program Cost (ages 5-11):
Early bird rate (until Jan 31, 2026) - $65 per child (plus tax)
Pre-conference rate (Feb 1 - May 4, 2026) - $75 per child (plus tax)
There is no teen program this year. Teens are welcome to apply as volunteers in the Giant Cow Kids Program. An "online volunteer application" can be found on the Giant Cow registration page.

Make your day easier and more enjoyable with food options tailored for conference attendees:
Pre-order Saturday lunch from Lepp's Bakehouse. Pre-order forms will be emailed to attendees in April. A Mad Greek Food Truck will be on site Friday evening to order dinner from, if desired.
Bring your own lunch and snacks if you prefer — there is plenty of space to enjoy them.
The CLA Café will be open during select hours, offering specialty coffees and light refreshments for purchase.
Complimentary coffee and water will be available throughout the conference days.
Still have questions? Visit our website (bchec.ca) for more information regarding speakers, exhibitors, travel info and FAQs.
Please Note:
Tickets are non-refundable and there are no discounts if you are only able to attend a portion of the conference.
There are no separate tickets available for entrance into the Exhibit Hall.
Due to space constraints, all seating for our breakout sessions is reserved for registered adults only. Seating at breakout sessions is offered on a first come, first serve basis and is subject to availability.
Please reach out to us at accounting@bchec.ca if you are unable to attend the conference due to financial reasons. There are needs-based bursaries available, and we are happy to receive your contributions towards bursaries to help a family in need as well.
